EDWARD ATKINSON, III, M.D.

Dr. Edward Atkinson, a native Memphian, has been associated with Diagnostic Imaging, P.C. since the opening of the imaging center in 1986. He is a 1982 graduate of the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas and completed a radiology residency at the University of Tennessee Center for the Health Sciences in 1986 when he also became board certified by the American Board of Radiology.

ROBERT A. DUKE, M.D.

Dr. Robert Duke is a native Memphian and a magna cum laude graduate of Memphis State University with a BS in mechanical engineering. His medical school training was at the University of Tennessee Center for the Health Sciences which he completed in 1981. He then went on to complete a residency in radiology at UTCHS in 1985 and was board certified the same year. He was also an assistant professor at UTCHS Department of Radiology from 1985 to 1987 with a specialty focus on CT and ultrasound before joining the medical staff at Diagnostic Imaging in 1987.

LOUIS S. PARVEY, M.D.

Dr. Louis Parvey is the founder of Diagnostic Imaging, P.C. and his career experience is well rounded in both adult and pediatric radiology with a specialty focus on pediatrics. Dr. Parvey attended medical school at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine, graduated in 1968, spent an internship at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas, returned to Memphis to complete a residency in radiology at the University of Tennessee Center for the Health Sciences in 1974 and was board certified by the American Board of Radiology in 1975. He went on to complete a pediatric radiology fellowship at LeBonheur Children's Medical Center, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and the University of Tennessee Medical Units. Formerly, he was Director of Pediatric Radiology at UT and LBCMC and served as staff radiologist for a number of years at LBCMC and St. Jude before starting a full time private practice in 1986.

CLARENCE G. HERRINGTON, III, M.D.

Dr. Herrington is the newest addition to the physician staff of Diagnostic Imaging, P.C. He is a graduate of Rhodes College and University of Tennessee Center for Health Sciences. He completed his internship and residency at UTCHS and a Fellowship in Musculoskeletal Radiology at the University of Mississippi and was board certified in 2003. He was an instructor in the Department of Radiology at the University of Mississippi and a staff radiologist in Mississippi and Tennessee before joining Diagnostic Imaging in 2006.
