Al Natera, M.D. joined Memphis Radiological P.C. in 2014. Dr. Natera received an undergraduate degree from University of Memphis. He earned his medical degree from University of Tennessee Health Science Center and completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at University of Tennessee, Memphis. He completed his fellowship in Pediatric Radiology at Children’s Mercy Hospital and Clinics in Kansas City, MO. He is board certified in Diagnostic radiology and Pediatric, radiology by the American board of Radiology.

Children’s Mercy Hospital and Clinics. Studying the utility of MRI post-contrast SWI sequences in the evaluation of brain neoplasm vascularity and tumor borders. Under the supervision of Dr. Lisa Lowe.
Summer 2005 – University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Studied the inflammatory response of murine macrophages in the presence of Group B Streptococcus and different antibiotic combinations. Under the supervision of Dr. Boyce English
2003-2004 University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Studied the changes in weight, physical activity, and diet of obese African American children after lifestyle intervention. Under the supervision of Dr. Pedro Velazquez
