David P. Fang, MD

David P. Fang, M.D. joined Memphis Vascular Center in 2004. A Taiwan native, Dr. Fang received an undergraduate degree in Biology from The Johns Hopkins University. He earned his medical degree at the University Of Oklahoma College Of Medicine and completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Methodist University Hospital of Memphis. He completed his fellowship in Interventional Radiology at the University of Virginia.

Dr. Fang is board certified by the American Board of Radiology. His professional memberships include the Society of Interventional Radiology.

RESEARCH EXPERIENCE

Department of Physiology: The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine; created chimeric protein using PCR to study the active site of the G6P transport protein of E. coli, 1992 – 1993

Department of Urology: University of Oklahoma College of Medicine; studied the effects of cryopreservation on the motility of sperm, 1991
